Binoy Thomas
Binoy Thomas was born in Denver, Colorado and plays the character of Derek in the movie “Cable Call Center.” He recently graduated from Colorado College with a Bachelors degree in political science and currently works in a Mexico City advertising agency as a strategic planner. When Binoy returns to the United States, he plans to move to Los Angeles to pursue a career in acting and possibly attend law school.
In the movie “Cable Call Center”, Binoy plays Derek whom he describes as “basically kind of a jerk who hates his job and thinks he knows everything there is to know about life.” Binoy goes on to say, “Derek holds onto a lot of stereotypes about certain ethnic groups and old people. This character was a lot of fun to play.” “Cable Call Center” is Binoy's second independent film.
Brian Landis
Brian had his first acting role on stage at the age of six. He has been actively pursuing his career as an actor ever since. Over the last decade, Brian has appeared regularly in many of Denver's most notable theaters.
While experienced with creating dramatic characters, Brian is particularly adept at comedy. Since 1993 he has supported himself as an entertainer by acting, juggling, and teaching. As a character actor, Mr. Folkins is noted for his broad range in creating diverse and believable personas. He has brought this talent to the screen in over thirty short and feature films. His work as a producer and still photographer has broadened his experience on film sets and provided his in-depth understanding of the film production process.
Along with his many talents, commitment and professionalism, Brian's fun and friendly personality has led producers of stage and screen alike to call him back time and time again.
In Cable Call Center , Brian's character runs the call center and is referred to as “Terminator X” for his “take no prisoners” attitude toward bill-paying customers. Brian had lots of fun playing him, especially enjoying Terminator X's conversation with little “Timmy” about cutting off access to his favorite “Squid-Bob Square-Pants” cartoons.
Dina Cintron
Dina Sofia Cintron was born and raised in Puerto Rico. Dina had her film debut in 2003, when she played a psychotic man-eater, in the film Next Victim .
Stage acting has been and major part of her life since she played a maple tree in the first grade! Her hobbies include writing stories and back-country camping. When you ask Dina why she loves acting, she will tell you that it's because " it is a celebration of all aspects of human nature."
In the film Cable Call Center , Dina plays “Lisa”, a call center maverick on her last nerve. Unhappy with her current work situation, she is ready to unleash her frustrations on her customers. Lisa is aware of her job's impending doom at the hand of the feared “Terminator X”, but is willing to go out in a blaze of glory.
Elizabeth Buck
Elizabeth Buck was born and raised in Colorado and is currently a mobile DJ for “Jammin Sounds” – a local music business. In her spare time, Elizabeth, a singer, is forming a band and is always on the lookout for acting opportunities.
Elizabeth's acting credits include theater and improve work. She has appeared in Shakespeare's “A Midsummer Night's Dream” and “Twelfth Night.”
In “Cable Call Center”, Elizabeth plays the part of “Mindy” – a new employee who finds racism at the call center and ends up quitting. Elizabeth says she loved working on the project, learned a great deal about the “behind-the scenes” aspects of filmmaking and found the experience and knowledge she gained invaluable in her budding career.
Hope Gayle
Hope Gale was born in Chicago many years ago. She moved to Colorado to attend Colorado State University. In her spare time, Hope enjoys writing and has written several screenplays including “Surface”, the story of Singred Thomas, a homely, picked-on 16-year-old who kills two of her classmates and frames a third for the murder, “Sleepwalking”, the story of six characters who's lives revolve around a movie star caught in a sex scandal, and the full length screenplay for “Cable Call Center”, the story of several oppressed workers in a call center who take revenge on their evil boss. Hope has worked in several call centers in the Denver area.
John Wakefield
John Wakefield was born in Massachusetts. In his early years, John worked backstage for various popular bands of the 1970's. The 80's saw him working in television set design and construction. Later on, John moved to stand-up comedy and songwriting.
“Cable Call Center” is John's first major film role.
Mike Freibus
Mike Freibus was born in Denver, Colorado in 1978 and attended various colleges while trying his hand at acting. He has worked as an extra in both film and theater.
Mike plays “Joe” in the short film “Cable Call Center” and says this character literally ‘picked him' - as he has spent the last few years as a cable installer for a local cable company in Denver. Says Mike, “working on the film has been a great time and a lot of laughs!”

Film credits include “Patriot Park” - TV, Innervision Television, and recent independent film projects.
In “Cable Call Center”, Siyah plays "Katie" – a young journalist who is on-location, getting the inside scoop on the agents who work there. Says Siyah, “The character is a fresh reporter, new to the scene and always looking for a good story. Little does she know what is in store for her!”
Stephanie Keller
Stephanie Keller (“Chris”) was born in Brooklyn NY in 1962. She received her bachelor's degree in Theater from Sarah Lawrence College in 1984. During the early 1980's, Ms. Keller appeared in the John Sayles film “Baby it's You” and John Braswell's off-Broadway musical “Street Dreams” by Eve Merriam at La Mama, ETC. She also served as the Assistant Stage Manager for the American Jewish Theater at the 92 nd Street Y. During the late 1980's and early 90's, Ms. Keller was a musician/singer/songwriter, performing with her band and as a solo artist in local venues here in the greater Denver area. In 1995, Ms. Keller received her Master's Degree in Education from UC Berkeley, and went on to teach in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Since then, Ms. Keller has returned to Colorado and is teaching emotionally disturbed youth in her neighborhood school, as well as being a volunteer in local charities and a political activist. “Cable Call Center” is her first Independent film.
Tomeka Muhammad
Tomeka “Ladios” Muhammad has lived in Denver for over 14 years. After a childhood as a constantly-traveling “army kid”, she has decided to make Denver her permanent home. In the past 14 years she has has been able to enhance her acting skills while producing a reputable resume. Her talents range from being a spokes model to acting in theater and film. Although theater is her first love, hitting the ground running -Tomeka has decided to pursue her career in film.
She is currently working on two independent films in Denver. She plays a lead supporting role in “Temptation, Revelation and Karma” by Rain and Thunder Productions; in “Cable Call Center” by Harris Productions, she plays “Ms. Jones”, an assertive, sophisticated, well-paid corporate woman. Her character is comedic, and although strong and successful, clearly has not forgotten where she has come from and will let you know in a minute!
Tomeka, also known as “Ladios”, is an activist against Domestic Violence; she has learned to overcome her own great trials and adversity. She sees her work in the film industry as a new journey in her life – as, ironically, she herself left a call center to pursue her acting career full time.
“Although it is very competitive in the entertainment field, I know that my strong presence and my ability to allow no one to define who I am will always keep me grounded. Life's experiences have blessed me with great tenacity and the courage to move forth in the world. Working in the entertainment field is no different from any other of life's experiences- it's all about how you deal with the “curve balls” that will create your outcome - so Hollywood, give me what you got, ‘cause here I come!”
William Reed
William Reed was born, with his identical twin brother, Edward, in Jersey City, New Jersey in 1984. After graduating from high school, William decided to take a few acting courses at his local community college, ultimately resulting in his choice to make acting his permanent career goal. After moving to Denver in 2004, William worked as a customer service representative at a cable television company where he met Cable Call Center 's producer, Calvin Harris, who offered him the part of “Brian”.
Currently, William continues in acting classes to help define his craft, and remains involved with Mr. Harris in work on future projects. At the beginning of next year, William plans to relocate to Los Angeles CA in order to fully realize his dream.
